UPDATE: Hwy 49 is re-open and injuries from this collision were minor.
October 20, 2016 at 12:10 PM: The collision on Hwy 49 near the Amador County/Calaveras County lines spilled 12 tons of asphalt on the roadway.
It will take another hour before they can re-open the roadway to two-way traffic, per CHP.
