UPDATE at 3:15 PM: Per CHP this collision has resulted in major injuries.
October 5, 2016 at 3 PM: A head-on collision has been reported on Hwy 26 near Higdon Road in the West Point area.
Several CHP are at the scene, and an ambulance is responding. Avoid the area if possible.
