Board of Equalization to go away...

As we have reported many times, the California State Board of Equalization is an elected group of 5 who we believe not only used the office to promote political ideas, and wastes our tax money, not to mention harassing business owners.

Some, like the one who represents Calaveras County, even hold meetings, some by phone, to promote ideas opposite to what the Governor wants, or the majority of Californians want. The board would be brought into the state agencies with appointments by the Governor.  Thank you, Governor Brown!

Now do something with the FIRE BOARDS!!!

I agree with this. Go governor.

Aren't those 5 people elected representatives, elected by the voters?
