Due to the Butte Fire, Calaveras County has seen $ 57 million in losses due to property assessments being adjusted to owners.
Leslie Davis, County Tax Assessor, brought the figures to the Calaveras Supervisors at their June 27, 2017 meeting. Her employees have spent 2 years working on the assessments.
