An apparent Road Rage incident on Hwy 99 near Standiford Ave in Modesto left one person dead and left lying on the roadway.
After getting out of his vehicle to confront the other driver, it was reported by a witness that the driver of that vehicle ran over him and left the scene. CHP is still searching for that driver.
