We were all reminded by a member of the public that Calaveras County is known as the county of death, with the skull as symbol for a reason.Back in the 1800's when someone wanted a claim or didn't like others who were around they would kills them and the creeks were full of skulls! No wonder our Supervisors seem to leave skulls around!
