German tourist crashes Harley

According to CHP on June 10, 2017 Silvia Freimuth (48) of Germany was riding a rented Harley Davidson motorcycle on Hwy 49 near Mokelumne Hill at 35-40 MPH.

She failed to negotiate a curve and the handlebars scraped the roadway, causing her to lose control of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle left the road edge and up the embankment, rolling over and ejecting Freimuth to the ground.

Freimuth was taken to Sutter Amador Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
