Fight on French Gulch Road leads to high speed chase

To follow activity from beginning, read from the bottom up.

UPDATE at 7:20 PM:  Another medical unit has been requested for injuries and diabetes at one of the locations, unsure which one at this point.  Someone's going to be up late doing paperwork tonight after all this activity.  Good job, Calaveras Sheriff!!

UPDATE at 7:10 PM:  There are now deputies at the original residence on French Gulch Road in Murphys, another at the scene of a vehicle that ran off the road at Hwy 12 and Double Springs Road, a deputy chasing two suspects toward Hogan and another at a stop near Toyon Middle School.

One suspect has been seen on foot by a local resident, alone.

This was a quick APB on the vehicles and good law enforcement work. Sounds like it might be a cannabis robbery of some type.

UPDATE at 7:05 PM:  Detectives are being dispatched. Money is all over Hwy 12, thousands of dollars in the roadway per deputy
.

UPDATE:  One person captured has some type of traumatic brain injury. May be fatal injury. Ambulance en route.

UPDATE:  Another vehicle is being pursued on Hwy 12 in the Valley Springs area at speeds up to 100 MPH.  Ran off road, on foot headed for the lake near old nursery.  Another is in pursuit of the van.

UPDATE:  A deputy is holding three suspects at gunpoint near Double Springs. Backup has been dispatched to the scene.
