Raymond Wright, Vietnam Vet

It is with great sadness that the family of Raymond Wright, known to friends as "Ray" passed away on Sunday June 17, 2018 at the age of 72.

Ray will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Jean Wright and his children Rene Herzog, Cristal Wright and Desiree Ammons.

Ray will also be remember by his two grandchildren, Hazel and Wolfgang, his brother Gary Castro and sister Mary Jimenez, Barbara Nelson and sister-in-law Jane Spangler.

Ray was predeceased by his mother Hazel Castro, his father Ernie Castro, daughter Sherry Wright, and brothers Ernie and Kent Castro.

Ray's life work was dedicated to his family, a country boy who worked hard, a ranch home he built with his own two hands an also served his country in Vietnam as a combat soldier.

We would like to invite all friends and family to join us in the salute and celebration of Ray's life.

The Salute and Celebration of Ray's life will be held at 11 AM on Sunday July 1, 2018 at "The Ranch" 101 Tune Dr. in Angels Camp, 95222, directly off Red Hill Road.

Reception of remembrance to follow thereafter. Those who desire may make memorial donations in memory of Ray to the American Cancer Society.
