CCWD put out a press release bragging that firefighters were successful in protecting homes from
the Waverly Fire in Jenny Lind because of the fire HYDRANTS!
Unfortunately, CCWD flatly REFUSES to put in hydrants in the most vulnerable areas of Ebbetts Pass, although community meetings have been held begging the district for help.
The District representatives all made sure THEY got hydrants thought. And now they just got another big raise in money and STILL refuse to put in hydrants.
Something needs to be done about the Director's attitude towards residents!! And thank you, firefighters for saving homes in Rancho and Jenny Lind!
