Starting around 3:30 PM with a 50 acre fire in Copperopolis, and then a high speed chase by Calaveras deputies amidst all kinds of apparent illegal activity, resulting in cash on the highway, one fatal crash, a foot chase, etc. the weekend in Calaveras County ended with first responders out in full force.
And after a relatively quiet two days. They all deserve a commendation, especially for all the hard work they did in this heat. Thank you all!
