Several people have told us that because the current Sheriff refuses to enforce trespassing laws in Calaveras County, they are posting more signs and getting angrier.
The True Value in Arnold ran out of them today after one man came in and said "I want all the rest of your "No Trespassing" signs.
Mostly racists are being blamed for the lack of respect of other peoples property, and then the Sheriff for refusing to arrest them.
Trespassing leads to vandalism, theft and violence. Calaveras Sheriff DiBasilio says he just doesn't care. He has pot plants to cut down (the easy job) instead of protecting residents!!
