A Calaveras County Public Works employee died as a result of injuries he sustained in a tree removal incident near Mokelumne Hill on Monday morning.
Apparently workers lost control of a cut limb that then rolled over 57 year old Ansel John Bowman. Calaveras Supervisors Chair Garamendi gave condolences at their Tuesday meeting.
