On April 8, 2019 Shannon David Scott's vehicle was located in a field off Hwy 49
near Plymouth. He had been headed for Sacramento last summer when he disappeared.
A resident discovered the car and called authorities and when CHP and Amador County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered the remains of what is likely Mr. Scott inside the vehicle.
Sad that he was found deceased, but at least the case was solved.
