Hwy 4 Open/Closed...Open/Closed?

  We have had conflicting reports about Hwy 4 being opened, and then being closed and then being opened again. On whose authority is this happening?


     Supposedly the Stanislaus National Forest Service is the deciding agency, but we have had many conflicting reports that it has been opened at different times.

   We are checking on the situation and the Calaveras Sheriff's Office has asked to be notified of closures and openings of the Hwy.
