David C. Bulmer

   David Bulmer, of Valley Springs, passed away on August 16, 2012 at his home. He was 62.

   At native of Dearborn, Michigan, he served in the US Army during the Vietnam War,
was a disabled veteran who was honored with two purple hearts.

   He had lived in Valley Springs for 27 years, and had worked at California Cedar Products for 28 years.

   He loved all his family and dear friends. He enjoyed golf, riding his harley, collecting coins and most of all, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Beverly Bulmer and his brother Richard Bulmer.

   Mr. Bulmer is survived by his children; Denise Torrence (Greg) of Valley Springs, Beverly Blackwell (Steve) of Valley Springs and Alicia Pochard of Stockton; siblings Kathy Norman (Bud) of Lodi, Mark Bulmer (Susie) of Lodi, Debra Lamela (Fred) of Hickman, and Gary Bulmer of Squaw Valley, half-sisters Elvira Ellie Bulmer, Randi Verdot, of Fresno and half-brother Jason Johnson of Fresno.

  He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

   A Celebration of Life will be held on September 9, 2012 at 3 PM at LaContenta Golf Course at 1653 Hwy 26 in Valley Springs.

   San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

It's been a few years since I last saw Dave. He was a good guy that did a lot of good things. That being said, Dave will be missed by his friends and family but there will always be the memories we made while he was here.
A good person is hard to find, hard to lose, and impossible to forget. May he rest in peace.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my friend and your father. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to have worked with Dave at Cal-Cedar for 22 years. His friendship was appreciated and I will miss him greatly.
