Candy Rock-Letter to Editor

     Dear Sierra Sentinel:
Was so glad to see that you are not afraid of those few bad apple dangerous people who shoot at the Candy Rock Quarry. Most of us are terrified of them.
I would appreciate it if you don't use my name, as I am not afraid of them, but I do fear for my family. Why don't the authorities do anything about these nut cases?
Ever since the Candy Rock thing started there are looming threats to all of the people who dared to speak out that the quarry should be closed to all shooting.
And it should be closed. As you said in your recent article, even the Neutral Assessment recommendation overall was to close it.. So what is the holdup, Forestry Department? Are your friends the shooters more important than our families?
Or are you afraid of the same certain ones that we live in fear of every day. The ones who vow to get even with anyone who challenges them?
CLOSE CANDY ROCK NOW!  PROTECT THE RESIDENTS!  Thank you, Sierra Sentinel, for standing up to these nuts!
