Directors may be expected to serve on various Boards or Committees in conjunction with UPUD, to take Ethics and Brown Act training, and attend regular, along with special Board meetings.

The terms are four years, however, this vacancy will be a UPUD Board appointment to fill a term that will end with the next scheduled election in August 2013.

Qualified residents must submit a "letter of interest" and a resume or application, which is available at or at 339 Main Street in Murphys.
