20,000 "energy drink" users in Emergency Rooms

A government study is calling popular energy drings "a rising public health problem" that are sending more and more people to the emergency rooms.

The sudden rush of caffeine can cause a rise in heart rate and pulse, and bring on symptoms of an anxiety attack.

Is some cases, the drinks are combined with another stimulant, which makes the effects much stronger.
