Assemblyamember Frank Bigelow Introduced Livestock Theft Legislation, Assembly Bill 924.
. Cattlemen have been looking to increase penalties for cattle rustling in California and the Members of the California Cattlemen's Association are pleased to sponsor and support the bill to increase penalties for livestock theft.'
The theft of livestock exceeding a value of $15,000 will enable a District Attorney, if they choose to, to add an additional term to a criminal sentence.
