Rivers and Streams Contaminated, No ground cover

The US Environmental Protection Agency reported that high levels of contamination by fertilizers and shrinking ground cover were putting the 1.2 million miles of streams in danger.

While we don't have as much fertilizer use here in Calaveras County, there is a massive effort by people like Steve Wilensky to clear all ground cover from the earth to burn in his furnaces.

The more that is stripped, the worse off our waterways and amounts of water we have will become.

And the stripping, actually called slash and burn, is welcomed by so-called environmentalists. Shocking!!
