It was heartening to see residents, like the Darby's, who live on the Annex (Hwy 49) and who don't like speaking in public, taking the brave step of speaking up at a City Council meeting in Angels Camp.
They have a right to express their opinions, and the Council does not often encourage, or should we say are relieved when people are too afraid to express their unhappiness with what the City Council in Angels Camp may be doing.
