The local weather forecast is for showers on Thursday and Friday. We were told that at Big Trees State Park and above they received a deluge at times on Tuesday, while lower elevations stayed dry.
Any rain at all at the higher elevations puts off the fire danger another few days, so it is welcome by everyone who lives in the area.
According to the weather service, Saturday and Sunday should remain dry.
