Yesterday, April 30, 2013 was the 20th anniversary of the World Wide Web. It was Ti Berners-Lee, a British computer scientist, who launched the world's first website.
It included only test and instructions on how to use the World Wide Web. That site had closed down years ago, but it has been brought back. you can locate it at http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html.
