Congressman Tom McClintock's Chief of Staff Igor Birman, may be the favorite to take on Ami Bera.
Birman, however, is registered at his parent's home in the Oakland Hills. And is it true that Birman was his college Democats leader. How does he go from that to working for McClintock?

I think the author of this post should read the Sac Bee. After Igor Birman and his family emigrated from Russia to the United States in 1994, he lived in the Sacramento area and graduated from UC Davis. While he is currently registered to vote in Oakland he has said he would move back into the district if he decides to run.
And as for being a Democrat when he was a teenager lets give him a break. Ronald Reagan was once a Democrat Union leader.
