Russell Robert Willard of San Andreas

Russell Robert Willard was born January 14, 1924 to Robert and Flossie Willard. Russ peacefully passed away on July 4, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his wife Laurel Willard and grandson Shayne Willard.

He is survived by significant other of any years, Pat Siedler, sons David and Denis, along with Denis' wife Carol.

Russ was quite the athlete and sportsman.  He moved to California as a young man, enlisted in the Marine Corps, served his duty and was released with an honorable discharge.

He worked at Western Pacific Railroad, then became a rancher in Stoneyford. Russ spent many years in Carmichael, then moved to Stanley, Idaho and lived "The Great Outdoors".

He lived and worked in the states and around the world.  Russ settled in San Andreas and made many friends. He had been a plumbing contractor since 1965.

Every 4th of July I'll look in the sky and remember you, Pop. You will be missed and loved.

Services will be held July 20, 2013 at 11 AM at the San Andreas Memorial Chapel at 254 W. St. Charles in San Andreas.

A reception will follow at Joe Cardenas' house.  Maps will be provided. Family and friends welcome.
