Sandra Osterman testifies for defense

  July 8, 2013:  Friend of the Zimmerman's, Sandra calls him "Georgie", and is testifying for the
defense.

   She is now telling the court that she believes it is George Zimmerman on the tape. She says she wouldn't lie for him or anybody.

   The first question the State asked was "did you and your husband write a book?" The defense objected but it was overruled.  She also admitted that the money from the sales of the book is being put in an account for George after this case is over.

   She admitted that it was George Zimmerman saying "Those ******* ******** always get away!"

   Then the State played the tape where Zimmerman said "those ******* punks" She said that was George.

   She testified that he was not saying those things out of anger or spite. They were all together with his wife when they heard it first and that she agreed it was George.

   The State asked her if he always talks that way in ordinary conversation and that he was just talking about going out to dinner. She restated that she doesn't think he was angry.

   Then the State played it again. He offered the witness headphones. She said no. The defense wants the entire tape played.

    He said "Shit, he's running." Do you think his voice is constant throughout that? She doesn't hear either the "F" word or the "punks".

   Now the State is playing it again.  He wants the jury to hear the tape again and again. Perhaps the defense should not have tried using Mrs. Ostermann.
