You don't need fireworks....

Celebrating the 4th of July is a tradition in the US, and fireworks have always been a part of it.
However, with conditions in California so dry and the chance for fire so high, is it necessary?

There is another reason to reconsider. Many veterans dread 4th of July fireworks because they can trigger anxiety, especially in those who have PTSD, according to Veterans Affairs.

We just received a press release from the Angels Camp Fire Department. You may set off your "legal" fireworks at Bret Harte High School from 6 PM to 10 PM tomorrow July 4, 2013.

The Angels Camp City Council again had the opportunity to ban fireworks in the City limits, but chose not to, so that their favorite charities can make money off of them.

One day there will be a fire and the City Council will be responsible, especially in these dry,  hot  and dangerous years.

you forgot to mention that dogs hate fireworks and many get lost after hearing them.
