UPDATE: This is awhile after the Murphys Chevron on Hwy 4 reported a suspect shoplifted liquor from the back of the store and left on foot headed towards Church Street.
He was at that time identified as a white male adult 25-30 years old wearing a white baseball cap, a red bandana, an army green jacket, khaki pants, white sunglasses and brown boots. It states in that report that an arrest was made.
According to the Calaveras Sheriff's Office, on April 24, 2014 Kyle Patrick Cox, of Arnold (33) was arrested by deputies at the Nugget Bar in Murphys for alleged 2nd Degree Burglary and Possession of a Controlled Substance, both felonies and Disorderly conduct, Petty Theft and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, misdemeanors.
Cox was booked into the Calaveras County Jail.
