Letter to the Editor: About US Postal Service

   Dear Editor:

I remember in the past that there have been complaints about the US Post Office employees in the Mother Lode area, with letters printed in the Sierra Sentinel.

At the time, I thought "That would never happen to me!" Boy was I wrong.  I have found that a horrid man who was rude and I felt unlawful is revered by the post office.

I, just like many others, tried complaining up the line of command. Do you know what I found? All the way to the top they are POSTAL EMPLOYEES, even in  Washington DC.

I found that they are rotten and political and that they actually tried to get even with me for making a complaint, just like another person I read about.

I don't know if this one was a veteran or not, but I want the public to know that the postal employees now working at USPS are so politically active, vindictive and just plain mean that they should all be fired and turn it over to UPS or someone with nice employees.

It is a disgrace that our postal system is so corrupt and rotten, but it is. And I am telling everyone. Please print this letter. Thank you!

Well, hello there. And the American POstal Workers are back in the news. It is mostly men, I have found. And veterans. They hate their job and take it out on customers. The APWUnion protects them. It is sick!!!

I think you are right about that. These men take the job out of the military cause they aren't smart enough to do anything else. They are mostly mentally ill, like the two in Calaveras who actually bragged about their PTSD online. Nothing but clerks their whole life and angry, who knows what else.

Thought I heard they put them all out on disability or something like that. No?

I hear that some of them still are horrid people after they are retired out. We will be paying for them forever, you know.

that's so funny, just the other day someone told me how nice their mail person was. Turned out it was a contract employee, not a union worker. Does that figure or what?

I think you're right. Mine is nice and its a contract delivery person. I hate to go to the PO. Mean, mean, mean.
