Barbara Elizabeth Snyder was born on March 4, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio and entered into rest on June 5, 2015 in Lodi.Barbara currently resided in San Andreas
and died of natural causes.
Loved by her husband Kenneth Snyder of San Andreas and 2 daughters Virginia Mattox (Gerry) of
Valley Springs and Sylvia Harbeck (Seth) of San Andreas, as well as 4 grandchildren (Amanda Rose, Cordelia, Vincent and Edward) and 3 great-grandchildren (Jason, Jonathan and Skyler).
Barbara was born and raised Seventh Day Adventist, as well as spending many years at the Community Covenant Church in San Andrea.
Barbara loved to sing, draw, spend time with family, cook and enjoyed bible studies. She played professional clarinet for San Francisco's Orchestra and was a secretary for the City of San Francisco.
She fought to keep the Calaveras Transit running as well as started a blind support group in San Andreas. She also assisted with the Calaveras Taxi Cab.
Memorial arrangements will be made; friends and family will be notified when and where it will be held.
San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
