UPDATE: Per Calaveras County Public Works Director, they are NOT in any negotiations with CCWD regarding a lease or sale of anything in the White Pines Lake area. UPDATE: Per Joel Metzger (Directors are afraid to respond) CCWD has no intention of selling White Pines Lake.
They are apparently negotiating leases
with Calaveras County regarding the White Pines Park and the ball field.
CCWD also owns the land where the logging museum sits.

There are many rumors circulating in Ebbetts Pass that the Chair of CCWD, Underhill, has made a special deal for helping her get back into the Board, to repay them by selling White Pines Lake cheap.
We have requested information about this deal from CCWD and will report when we get a response.
