Can you believe that one of the candidates for Calaveras Sheriff is a US Marine Drill Sargent. Clearly a favorite of Oliveira, who's evil demeanor shows itself as a past
marine.
Another is the husband of the President of the Calaveras Chamber of Commerce; a friend of Edsons who evades the questions and wants to pay more to the deputies. He says they are given lots of overtime because it gives the deputies more money to spend. (NOT A GOOD REASON)
As an incentive to bring people to Calaveras Sheriff, this guy says tell them they get to play with the boats. (HUH???)
Another shocking thing this man stated was that he believes all businesses are part of his wife's chamber and would only talk to them. This guy is bad news!!
Oh, no! When asked how he would direct his officers about Black Lives Matters, he said "ALL LIVES MATTER!"
This guy keeps saying 'My wife and I," My wife and I"! guess he can't do anything alone!
He said he used to be the resident deputy in Arnold. Since we have NEVER had a good resident deputy in Arnold, that says everything about him.
