On May 20, 2016 the Calaveras Sheriff received complaints of aggressive signature gatherers harassing people, both in Arnold and in Valley Springs.
To our knowledge the Sheriff has done nothing to stop this behavior, and the Elections department at Calaveras County has done nothing either.

Which Group of signature gathers, the ban or the pro marijuana gathers?
I saw some harassment by the ANTI-pot people. don't know about all of them.
On Friday I was totally bugged by a person who wanted me to sign a petition for a total and permanent ban in Calaveras. Can you believe it? I asked her "what about booze?" no answer?
Today is the day both petitions are supposed to deliver there signatures to verify they have the 1571 to get the initiatives on the ballot. I wonder who will have the signatures required??
Hopefully FAT POT McmAnus was out all those days for nothing. Not that he has anything else to do
