On May 6, 2016 at around 2:10 AM Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Jason Daniel August (32) of Mountain Ranch and Kathy Lorraine Mount (30) of Valley Springs on Butler Lane in Valley Springs.
August was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Battery with Serious Bodily Injury, a felony and was released on bond; Mount was booked for allegedly Inflicting Corporal Injury on a Spouse, a felony.
