According to a press release by Angels Camp Police, on October 7, 2016 a lost 3 year old was reported at Bret Harte High School.
It was determined that Heidi R. Hayner, (52) was the grandmother of the found child. She had allegedly fallen asleep and the child left the car unknown to her.
The Chit of Angels Camp Police arrested Hayner on an alleged felony charge related to child endangerment. The children were released to the custody of their parents.
