Tomorrow, October 18, 2016 at 9 AM the Calaveras Supervisors have called a Special Meeting regarding the 8800 dead trees from the Butte Fire.
First they will proclaim Supervisor Edson the head of OES and then they will approve having the trees cut down as an emergency hazard measure and ask for state funds
The county was not granted the Federal funds they applied for, it was announced last week, due to bad record keeping and incomplete forms. Perhaps Mr. Edson can just hop right out there and start cutting himself, since he is responsible for all of this.
