CHP Sgt. saves fawn

   Sgt. Fisher of the Truckee CHP found a fawn with its leg stuck in a drainage ditch on Hwy 80. With no doe around, Fisher climbed down into the ditch and freed the little fawn.

   He then wrapped it up and took it to a veterinarian for care. It will eventually be released into the
wild.  They've named the fawn Star.
