This is way past time to happen. Across the United States legislatures are enacting more laws for animals.
The best one we've seen is the one that says animal abusers must register just like sex offenders. That way neighbors and others in the community, including animal shelters, know where they are and who they are.
Where does the California legislature stand on this. Where does Calaveras County Sheriff, who only prosecutes people who are NOT his political likenesses stand?
