UPDATE at 3:50 PM: A helicopter finally made it to the LZ to pick up injured. Hwy 4 is now clear.
UPDATE: One person will need to be airlifted to a hospital.At 3:20 PM: One helicopter made an emergency landing in Copperopolis with a smoking engine. Another is being dispatched.
August 26, 2017 at 2:30 PM: A traffic collision has been reported on Hwy 4 near Forest Meadows.
Emergency personnel are en route. Both lanes of traffic are blocked. Be cautious if in that area.
