UPDATE: Vague search warrants for ongoing operations were apparently served in at least some of the raids on cannabis farms in Calaveras. Whether they are proper or not is not known at this time.
The courts have ordered Lake County to pay $250,000 due to its Sheriff's Department raiding cannabis farms without warrants.
Did Calaveras Sheriff have any warrants. Of course, we hear the judges in Calaveras will sign any warrant that is put in front of them, legal or not!!
