The Real Problem: Bears or Humans?

A thirsty bear carefully

Last night, July 18, 2012,  there was a special on wildlife in Anchorage, Alaska.  It seems the black bears there (at least many of them) have become comfortable climbing into back yards and playing in the local parks.
While many of the locals moved to Alaska because they want to be near the wildlife, there are those who, like we have in Ebbetts
Pass, want to CONTROL their environment.
They moved here because of the beautiful mountains and the wildlife in it, but are so very afraid of every little thing that moves, they want to kill any animal that comes near their homes.
A wildlife expert in the Alaska special explained how they don't simply kill every bear or other animal because HUMANS want full control.
The fact is, that HUMANS are the PROBLEM.  Cowardly by nature, yet wanting to live in a beautiful setting like Ebbetts Pass or Alaska, they call the Animal Killers, like Fish and Game in California to kill everything they are afraid of.
The camera crew in Alaska followed a mother bear and her cubs for a day, and set up cameras on main trails that are used by both humans and wildlife in Anchorage.
What they found was that often humans would just miss seeing a bear on the same trail, because the bear could smell or hear them coming, and hid.
It's the same in Ebbetts Pass.  Just like in Alaska, people who truly love the wonderful creatures who live here, take out their cameras and snap as many pictures as they can of the deer, raccoons, bears, even skunks, before they leave to go back to the woods.

Instead, some "postals", we all  know, the ones who carry weapons illegally, have to call the Animal Killers of Fish and Game, even though THEY  put up HOT TUBS to attract them.
Those humans don't belong  here, and should be forced to move to the big cities, instead of being allowed to kill the animals to satisfy their fears.
Alaska or Ebbetts Pass, HUMANS are always the real problem!
