CHP received a complaint that a small cow was running around at Hwy 12 and Lime Creek Road in Valley Springs creating a traffic hazard on August 20, 2012 at around 7:50 PM.
Three different CHP units were assigned at different times, and apparently Cowboy Tyrone was not available, so they called Larry Ponte to come get the cow. CDF was involved, Zippy Mart was involved, the case was closed, and then reopened.
At 8:49 PM CHP reported that they lost sight of the cow.
