Cross-examination of Mr. Donnelly

July 8, 2013 Zimmerman trial:  The State cross-examines that at his deposition he didn't know what he was going to testify to.
Donnelly had not said he was testifying about the voice.

He said that he had not listened to the tape until last Saturday.  Then last Saturday he listened to the voice to be able to testify to the voice recognition.

"Why did you have to listen to it twice?'  He said he didn't know, it was very emotional for him. Then he asked if he had discussed it with his wife and he said "no, we did not discuss it at all."

He gave Zimmerman $3000 in cash and about $1700 in clothing. So you admit that you are biased on his side? He answered that he was his friend, more like a son.

He also took food to his home. Then the State asked if he heard any of the other tapes. He answered that it was a ways back.

Then the State played the tape again.  And again. "Was he a little more excited in that tape?" asked the State. "He said that Zimmerman was just trying to give the police more information."

He also said that all the voices calling for help was George Zimmerman, and other people yelling in the background.

The State said he has to take  a matter up with the court.
