Op-Ed....Why Post Office is so Anti-Business?

The US Postal Service can put out as many ads as it wants to try and attract business owners
to spend their money using Post Office ads, but it won't help!

It's totally apparent that the Post Office is completely anti-business!  There are even postal employees who join so-called business organizations to make it LOOK like they are in favor of businesses, but this is SO PHONEY, the skunk stench is everywhere!

We recently go off the phone with a District Manager for the Postal Service, who has been treating business owners like trash for 4 years that we know of.

Why should our businesses pay for them to have their cushy jobs and benefits and retire comfortably?  Especially after the way the post office treats business owners?

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN POSTAL ADS!!   These people hate you and your business when it all comes down to it. Stay away! Stay very far away!!!

I'm so glad to see this written. I agree completely. We need to get rid of the postal service. UPS could do a good job! I've been treated like shit and they do nothing to the employees. There are lowlifes in their midst and they aren't willing to purge them. UNIONS!!!

Where do you live, or are they all the same? It doesn't matter if you are a business person or a resident. They can't be bothered to interrupt their chats!

Isn't there a woman in ebbetts pass who pretends to be pro-business. What a joke! Do you know who her husband is? Is everyone in the postal system a drunk? I don't know, but it sure seems like it. What a worthless bunch of losers postal workers are!

The real problem is that upper management encourages it. This is all about an easy job with good benefits and retirement that we have to pay for.

I know one good postal worker. I think he's a contract worker though. He's real nice. Not like those union thugs.

If we all write to our congressmen, maybe they will do away with it. You know, there used to be really nice and honorable people who worked for the post office, but that has changed.

that's so true. I wasn't always this way, but now something needs to be done. I've been treated rudely and am afraid to complain. Heard that they go after the complainer instead of fixing the problem.

they don't just seem to make a lot of mistakes. it seems they do things on purpose

I remember going to the post office and thinking that the worker was drunk. whatever happened to that one?

Probably got promoted to postmaster general. that's how they do things.

Have you seen the Union ad about how wonderful they are? What a joke?

I'm in VS and its all the same. I'm a resident. They aren't nice to me either.

This is all about poor management. Its the management that has the bad attitude and passes in on.Get rid of them and hire strong managers who don't put up with bad treatment of customers.

oh my gosh. just finished reading this. what do you mean customers. they don't treat any of us like customers. we are only a nuisance to them.

You are so right about management. Those people are total morons who could care less about CUSTOMERS.

We know about the people in ebbetts pass. I think they are horrible people when they drink or when they don't drink. more like parade drunks?

where have I been all day to miss this. Of course, I happen to know that their managers are nothing more that union stewards. they have no education and couldn't manage a kook in a paper bag. So what can we expect?

To the postal gang at 95228! Thanks for the great job you do! Always friendly, smiling, and very helpful!

Thanks, APWU steward. but that's a contract worker that delivers the mail in 95228, not a union worker. She's the greatest.

All the rumors that have been going around about postal managers warning never to complain about a postal employee, is that true? And is it true that when you complain they attack you and send law enforcement to try and hurt you? I want the truth?

I can answer that one. I think they believe they can get away with murder. Why do you think a lot of people complain about them but never actually make a complaint. They're like a sick mafia. It didn't used to be that way, but it is now!! Oh, the things I could tell you about a certain post office in particular.

I'm not a steward. Just a satisfied customer. And again I say to 95228, Copperopolis USPS station, union, contract, volunteer, whom ever!... Great job! And thank you for being an asset to our Copperopolis community!

Ask your contract delivery person how she is treated by these union employees. She may be afraid to tell you, but we know what these people are really like, union steward.

ok..ok I am the union shop steward!!!..I give up!...You figured it out on your very own!..Happy now?..feel better?...I am the one writing these accolades to the USPS Copperopolis Station!...I know "these people" are nasty, no good rotten, home wreckin', cat killin', puppy kickin', baby pinching, good folk hatin', ugly, nasty people..and it's everyone's business to know this!
LOL!...OMG!!...yes, just because I saw 20 plus anonymous negative letters in regards to the USPS service, I thought, as a 13 year resident of Copperopolis, who has had nothing but good relations with our post office, I'd give them a shout out.
And I get harassed as a "union steward"?...sorry, wrong..again..
so...one last time...
Cheers to the 95228! Great job to all!
