The 10 students from Southern California who were killed last night near Orland, were on their way to a day at Humboldt State University to see if they would like to attend that university next year.
A FedEx freight truck jumped the median for an unknown reason and hit the bus head-on, causing it to explode. Many other teens are hospitalized in various hospitals in the area.
