April 11, 2014: In a press release from the Calaveras Republicans we learn that they have endorsed Dana Pfiel for Superior Court Judge in Department 1 and Tim Healy for Superior Court Judge of Department 2.
In a statement by Vicky Reinke, Chair of the Central Committee, they say "Dana Pfiel currently serves as Calaveras County Assistant District Attorney and brings twelve years of experience as a criminal prosecutor. Pfiel is prepared and qualified as our next Judge for Department One."
About Healy, Reinke says, " Tim Healy brings 13 years of experience as Deputy District Attorney for the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office where he has prosecuted crimes from homicide to child abuse. Healy understands the importance of applying the laws with fairness and neutrality when hearing cases. He is prepared and qualified to serve as Judge for Department 2.
