Calaveras Supervisors hold "Special Meeting" attending COG meeting at Ironstone

UPDATE:  We just received a revised announcement stating that the Calaveras Board of Supervisors is issuing a "Courtesy Notice" that THEY are all attending a Policy Conference witht the Calaveras Council of Governments (COG) today, April 40 2014 at Ironstone Vineyards.

It is NOT open to the public unless you previously paid and reserved in advance. It is NO LONGER a Special Meeting of the Board.  Nice of them to let us know!!

The Sentinel had sent an email to the CAO asking where Public Comments was on the agenda for their Special Meeting and apparently that was an error on the Board Clerk's part. This is the reply.
***********

The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors has just issued a notice that they are calling a Special Meeting of the Board tomorrow at Ironstone Vineyards, meeting jointly with the Calaveras Council of Governments (CCOG).

COG is where all the money comes for highway repairs and redesigns. A lot of our tax money flows through the COG in Calaveras. It begins at 9:30 AM with Continental breakfast.

Of course you know the Board Clerk just received an increase in pay of 2-3 dollars an hour. Nice to know our tax payers money is well spent...right?
