Congressional 7 term incumbent Eric Cantor was defeated by a little known Tea Party candidate in the primary. The Democrats seem to be celebrating this morning.
No one on Cantor's staff apparently saw this coming to the man who was expected to be the next Speaker of the House. Only 12% of the voters showed up.

This was due to his views on immigration reform, I think. The Tea Party doesn't like people, shall we say, of diverse nationalities or races.
