UPDATE at 7:50 AM June 21, 2014: According to CalFire the total acreage burned so far is 109, less than the 120 estimated last night. Containment is still at 75%.
UPDATE at 8 PM: The fire is now 75% contained and has not grown from 120 acres. I outbuilding has been destroyed.
UPDATE at 6 PM: The Reed Fire has burned 120 acres and is 45% contained. Hwy 49 is re-opened per CHP.
UPDATE June 20, 2014 at 5:15 PM: According to CalFire the Reed Fire on Hwy 49 at George Reed Rd is now 90 acres and is 40% contained. 30 residences were evacuated.
The cause of this fire is under investigation.

Most every CalFire and local engines have been dispatched to a large grass fire off Hwy 49 and George Reed Drive in San Andreas.
Hwy 49 is under one-way escort by CHP through the fire area. They are requesting people take alternate routes if possible and avoid the emergency vehicles.
